Análise do desempenho inovador das empresas de serviços intensivos em conhecimento

Objetivo. Avaliar a relação entre as fontes de informação e a capacidade de absorção e como esta capacidade melhora o desempenho inovador de uma empresa. Metodologia. O estudo apresenta evidências baseadas em uma amostra de 212 P-ESIC e 355 T-ESIC peruanos. A pesquisa aplicou uma abordagem de modelagem de equações estruturais utilizando o software AMOS; enquanto para a análise de mediação foi utilizado o software PROCESS. Resultados. Verificou-se que quando as ESICs estão expostas a fontes de informação internas, mercadológicas, institucionais, entre outras, estão em melhores condições para desenvolver inovações. Porém, esta condição não é suficiente, pois é necessário desenvolver a capacidade dinâmica (chamada capacidade de absorção). Conclusões. Este estudo contribui para uma melhor compreensão do comportamento inovador dos ESICs numa economia emergente como o Peru, uma vez que leva em conta que as economias emergentes apresentam características diferentes das economias mais desenvolvidas. Verificou-se também que a capacidade de absorção não medeia a relação entre as fontes de informação e o desempenho inovador nos dois grupos de empresas ESICs analisados.
