Analysis of the change in business strategy during times of crisis in Mexico

Resumen

La pandemia de Covid 19 ocasionó que distintos actores se adaptaran a la nueva normalidad, las empresas, especialmente, debieron adaptarse al contexto por el cierre de actividades económicas en función de la priorización de actividades. Por ello, el presente estudio pretende analizar el cambio de estrategia que realizaron las empresas que cotizan en la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores por la crisis sanitaria del Covid-19, considerando los años 2019, 2020 y 2021. Para lo cual, se conformó una base de datos con información de 97 empresas (por cada año de estudio) y, mediante la técnica de análisis de la varianza (ANOVA), Chi2 y prueba de Bonferroni, se obtiene evidencia empírica que el tipo de estrategia Prospectivo presenta menores niveles de rentabilidad en comparación de las empresas Analizadoras y Defensivas. Estos resultados pueden ser considerados como base.
